Martin Lee Wheeler (R) for Governor, Washington State 2024

PROVEN LEADERSHIP

At age 14 Martin was a volunteer fireman in Roy, Washington. Martin graduated from Bethel Sr. High School as the SPSL All-League Running Back in 1977. He furthered his education studying Emergency Medicine, Emergency Services Management, Business Administration, Mathematics and graduated from Tacoma Community College and has never stopped learning. At WWU, he was a real Viking on the football field. At 26 years of age, he was selected and invited to the prestigious National Fire Academy at Emmitsburg, Maryland, where he excelled, as only the best are accepted.

UNDERSTANDS THE DEMANDS OF BOTH SIDES OF THE STATE

Martin Lee Wheeler was one of the “Fab 6” who reorganized many Fire Districts into what is known today as, Central Pierce Fire & Rescue, Medic 1, which is the most recognized fire district in the United States. He won that vote in September 1995.

He has also been a Chief Financial Officer in the corporate world. That world is Oak Hills Vegetable Farms, Inc. and Oak Hills, Inc., growing Washington State’s Official Vegetable, (Walla Walla Onion) where he is currently president. Martin Lee Wheeler is retired from Central Pierce Fire and Rescue, Medic I, and the USDA.

He is ready to take on Jay Inslee and the Democrats to prevent them from damaging our state any further. We the People need a representative who is not a Politian, but a representative of the people.

WILL GOVERN FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, AS A TRUE PUBLIC SERVANT

  • Being all about law and order, he is determined to keep dangerous criminals behind bars.
  • Martin will not allow protestors to take control of any part of our 39 counties.
  • He will find the solution to manage homelessness, crime, and poverty in our cities.
  • Run-away taxes and the cost of living must be controlled immediately. Martin is up for the task.

Unlike the Democrats, Martin Lee Wheeler cares about struggling families.

Farmers in Washington State are facing great pressure. Farming families practice strict financial conservatism to survive. They work long hours during their critical season and must maintain their frugality at all times. Three things are of extreme importance and the costs for them have gone up exponentially, water, fertilizer, and fuel.

Make Farming Great Again!

He is watching out for all Washington State Farmers, environmentally. Keeping all farms producing and thriving has direct bearing on how your family thrives. Unless you have a huge garden and livestock, you are dependent upon our farmers to keep food on your table. Grow a Garden!

Why I’m running for Governor of Washington State

Martin Lee Wheeler

Wheeler4Governor.com
(425) 502-0321

Education: Graduate of Tacoma Community College, Attended Whatcom Community College,
Green River Community College, Western Washington University, and Graduate of the prestigious National Fire Academy, Emmitsburg, Maryland.

Occupation: Retired Professional Firefighter (Central Pierce Fire and Rescue-Medic 1), currently president of an agricultural research and food production company. Federal Work Background.

Statement: I am running for Governor of Washington State to return justice and accountability to this office. As a retired professional firefighter with administrative duties, federal work background, and president of an agricultural company, my work has spanned all Washington State’s 39 counties and across the United States. I see first-hand how policies and actions of the current governor have impacted the quality of life for so many families throughout the great State of Washington.

We need leadership with a common-sense approach to rehabilitation and an office that partners with local officials to ensure public safety. As current president of a company and retired professional firefighter, I looked for solutions to deter crime by strengthening community and supporting working families. I believe in second chances, but not a revolving door where the same people commit the same crimes.

As an award-winning former professional firefighter and current president of a company who has worked with many different cities and health departments developing areas of food production and health codes in the State of Washington, I have handled many different situations that required skilled decision making as a day-to-day routine. I was given the responsibility to manage the safety of hundreds of persons as a professional firefighter and as president of a food company.

I stand for Compassion, Fairness, and the Constitution of the United States of America.

I am very active with one of the most important programs in Washington State; Adopt-A-Road of Pierce and King Counties. I’m also involved with hundreds of children’s programs in our great state.

With 30 plus years as a professional firefighter and businessman, I understand that our citizens are overtaxed. I will fight for fair taxation in Washington State and pick the right Directors and Judges to administrate.

If elected I will elevate the standard of integrity and judicial competence in the State of Washington.

I ask for your vote!

Why Vote for Martin Lee Wheeler

I want to share some information about the next Republican Governor of the State of Washington. I know you want some facts, and some hope, going forward into the 2024 election season.

Born November 3rd, 1958, Martin Lee Wheeler was raised on his family’s farm in Roy Washington, the farming business that his parents founded in 1952; Oak Hills Vegetable Farms, Inc. Prior to founding their farming operation, Richard Hugh Wheeler was stuck in a bitterly cold winter with fellow soldiers in Germany during the Battle of the Bulge.

Martin’s mother, Florence E Wheeler was the administrator of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. They raised their three children, of whom Martin is the youngest, to love and serve God, and to respect and serve our fellow man. Martin’s parents built the original Olympia Farmers Market.

And now, Richard Hugh Wheeler and Florence E. Wheeler have passed on, but they are Honorary Life Members of the Olympia Farmers Market which they built in Olympia, Washington.

That is one thing I like about Martin. He continues to honor his father and mother. And Martin is well known in the farming community. He is also the architect of several farmers markets on our state’s west side, including Renton and Redmond. For several years he has been active in Sumner with the Annual Rhubarb Festival.

At the age of 14 Martin was a volunteer fireman in Roy, Pierce County, Washington, where he was sometimes the only fireman on duty. He would answer the call by driving the fire truck out to a local Pierce County farm to fight the fire alone until backup arrived. One such farm was the Wilcox Dairy and Egg Farm. You may have purchased Wilcox eggs. Martin quickly rose through the ranks and was a fire chief in his early 20’s.

Martin graduated from Bethel High School and was the All-League Running Back in 1977. He furthered his education at several of our local Colleges going where he could take the most important courses for meeting his goals to be the finest firefighter, Emergency Medical professional and Business Administrator that he could be. For mathematics it was Green River College and Emergency Services Management took him to Whatcom Community College. At Western Washington University, he made his mark as a Viking. At 26 years of age, he was invited to the National Fire Academy where he excelled, as only the best are accepted, and many are sent home.

Martin Lee Wheeler was one of the “Fab 6” who reorganized several Pierce County fire departments into what is known today as, Central Pierce Fire & Rescue, Medic 1 which is the most recognized fire district in the United States. Martin was in with Central Pierce for 30 years and remained the administrator until his retirement.

He has also been a Chief Financial Officer in the corporate world. That world is Oak Hills Vegetable Farms, Inc. and Oak Hills, Inc., where he is also president. His wife, Celia Smallidge-Wheeler is the current chairwoman of the board.

Discover the difference of having a former professional firefighter and businessman make the right choices for the people of Washington State. Martin is looking forward to fighting for you in making Washington State a better place to live.

Martin is retired from Central Pierce Fire and Rescue, Medic I, the USDA, and he is ready to take on the democrats to prevent them from following in the steps of Jay Inslee doing our state any more harm with their tax and spend policies. Martin Lee Wheeler is all about law and order. He is determined to keep dangerous criminals behind bars.

We have the right to assemble in peaceful protest, but Martin will not allow violent
protestors to take control of any part of our cities.

A solution must be found to manage the heartbreak of homelessness in far too many communities,
and mental health issues will be addressed.

Run-away taxes and the cost of living must be controlled.

Unlike the Left, Martin cares about struggling families.

There are many things at stake in Washington State and our Nation. Like the rest of us, farmers in Washington State are facing the same problems with inflation. However, on a much larger scale and many are being forced to throw in the towel. For them the costs have become too great. And he is furious that millions of acres of American farmland has been sold to the Chinese. The crops they are raising in our back yard are shipped back to China to be stock piled to feed the masses. What about our masses?

Martin keeps a close watch on all these things. He’s not only watching out for farmers, but for all of us. But we must support our local farmers because thriving farms have a direct bearing on how your family thrives. Unless you have a huge garden and livestock, you are dependent upon our farmers to keep food on your table. So let us all say, “Make Farming Great Again”!

But don’t just say it, do something about it. Vote for Martin Lee Wheeler!
