Each candidate will have up to 5 minutes to speak, depending on the number of candidates. Traditionally, Old Time Political Rallies can be quite noisy and a lot of fun!!

The candidate presentations start at 6PM. We would like to keep this rally social and political, with some good humor. Bring your handouts, signs, cheering section, noise makers and horns.

The food will be served from 5 to 7:30PM to accommodate everyone's schedule.

A Letter from Abraham Lincoln

This Letter was Written
By
President Abraham Lincoln
To a mother during the Civil War

Dear Madam,

I have been shown in the files of the War Department a statement of the Adjutant General of Massachusetts that you are the mother of five sons who have died gloriously on the field of battle.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save.

I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.

Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

A. Lincoln

Voter Contract Between the Citizens of Washington State And Martin Lee Wheeler

Voter Contract
Between the Citizens of Washington State
And
Martin Lee Wheeler

To become the elected Governor of Washington State
I hope this will be established between the Legal Registered Voters
And
Martin Lee Wheeler

Who was
Registered with

November 22, 2022
For the Primary Election
August 6, 2024
And
General Election
November 5, 2024

1. Sanctity of Human Life

I am proud to be an Independent. I am with the Republican Party so that my vote can be counted on the ballot in King County, Washington. If you do not place a (R) or (D) on the return envelope of the ballet for the 2024 Presidential Primary, your vote was not counted. Over 80,000 people did not fill this part of the envelop out which canceled their vote. I vote in King County, Washington. I work in all 39 (thirty-nine) Washington counties as a licensed professional commercial farmer.
I am proud to be a voter in the State of Washington that protects human life and offers real solutions for women and strongly opposes infanticide, including specific support for: the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act; a human life constitutional amendment; a ban on abortion at 20 weeks, when unborn babies can feel pain; a ban on abortion based on sex or disability; a ban on dismemberment abortion "in which unborn babies are literally torn apart limb from limb;" abortion clinic safety regulations; a ban on human cloning, and creating or experimenting upon human embryos, including three-parent embryos; a ban on any sale of body parts; and a ban on the "use of public funds to preform or promote abortion or to fund those organizations which do this."

2. Redefining Marriage

"The American family is the foundation of civil society, and the cornerstone of the family is natural marriage, the union of one (1) man and one (1) woman."
I do not believe in the Supreme Court's ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges. I would counsel and urge its reversal.

3. LGBT (is homosexual as defined in the Bible)

I embrace the principal that all legal citizens of Washington State and America should be treated with dignity and respect. I would up hold the current law of Washington State as Governor, however that does not infringe upon my right or null and void other legal citizen's right to hold Biblical values.
Martin Lee Wheeler says “I will give you three (3) things. You give me (1) one!!"
But what are you asking for Governor Martin Lee Wheeler? That would be brought out through negotiations in legal contract writings. Something to think about citizens of Washington State.
I support measures barring government discrimination because of one's views on marriage and family.
I support the rights of parents to determine the proper medical treatment and therapy for their minor children.
I oppose reshaping our schools and our entire society to fit the mold of an ideology alien to American's history and traditions.
I oppose Title IX being used to impose a social and cultural revolution upon the American people by wrongly redefining sex discrimination to include sexual orientation or other categories.
I oppose Presidents Obama's Title IX transgender bathroom edict. Open quote, "It is illegal, dangerous and ignores privacy issues.” Close quote, as listed with the American Disabilities Act. It could possibly cost the legal citizens of Washington State thousands of dollars in litigation in a Superior Court, as the case could land in front of a jury.

4. Conscience Rights in Healthcare.

Washington State's and America's healthcare professionals who are licensed with the State of Washington Department of Professional Licensing should not be forced to choose between following their faith and practicing their profession. We respect the rights of conscience of all healthcare professionals, doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMT's, Fire Departments, pharmacists and organizations, especially the faith-based groups which provide a major portion of care for the nation and the needy.

5. Religious Liberty

I strongly support the freedom of legal citizens of Washington State to act in accordance with their religious beliefs, not only in their houses of worship, but also in their everyday lives. The ongoing attempts to compel individuals, businesses, and institutions of faith to transgress their beliefs are part of a misguided effort to undermine religion and drive it from the public square.
I value the right of all Washington State legal citizens the American right to speak freely, according to their faith. The government "is constitutionally prohibited from policing or censoring speech based on religious convictions or beliefs."

6. God in Government

If God-given, natural inalienable rights come-înto conflict with government, court or human-granted rights, the God-given, natural inalienable rights always prevail.
I support the public display of the Ten Commands as a reflection of our history and our country's Judeo-Christian heritage. This entire platform mentions God 15 times.

7. The Courts

I support the appointment of judges who respect traditional family values and the sanctity of innocent human life.
I am who seeks to enable courts to begin to reverse the long line of activist decisions including Roe, Obergefell, and the Obama care cases.

8. Sex Education

I support sexual risk avoidance education that sets abstinence until marriage as the responsible and respected standard of behavior.

9. Education Choice in the State of Washington

I will fight for school choice and local control. The State of Washington recognizes that parents, not government are a child's first and foremost educators.
I support homeschooling, private schools, vouchers and tuition tax credits.
l'encourage teaching the bible as an elective in the academic area whither in public schools (primary and secondary), community colleges, and universities as an elective that accept taxpayer funds.

10. Social Experiment in the Military

I reject the use of the military as a platform for social experimentation and will not accept attempts to undermine military priorities and mission readiness. The Washington State National Guard needs the full support of the Governor of Washington State, Martin Lee Wheeler, as does the State of Israel, who is a major Trade Partner and Alley of the State of Washington. The proclamation occurred on March 1, 2028. Shalom!
I support the religious freedom of all military members, especially chaplains, and will not tolerate attempts to ban Bibles or religious symbols from military uniforms, facilities or vehicles.

Letter from an Individual

Happy May Everyone,
May 14, 2024 Enjoy it quickly because it is almost half over and then June is here and we will be halfway through 2024...how can that be? Seems like the merry-go-round just keeps spinning faster and faster...I keep talking to Mamma and telling her that we need to live more intentionally. This actually should have been our MO. our whole lives...but it is super important these days. It is soooooo weird how much nonsense and drama and distraction and utter stupidity is in our daily lives...woah...who has the time or energy for all of that??
We have started hiking the West Fork Trail again and have truly been enjoying the "Forest Therapy." We are only taking our little girl dog, Gigi, with us. The boys both seem to have a little hitch in their giddy up. I think it is from jumping on and off Mamma's bed to have a better look out the window so they can bark louder. Nevertheless, it leaves them a little gimpy and I don't want to carry them even one foot on the trail...so they have to stay home. Gigi loves to hike! She hates the car ride...she gets super anxious and hassles the whole time...but you almost can't get out the door without her once she sees the hiking shoes come out!!!!
We were getting back to hiking three times a week (just the 2.5 mile hike) but Mamma noticed some discomfort every time. You see Mamma has had a heart murmur her whole life. Three years ago she decided to start seeing a cardiologist so they could monitor it. God sent us someone very special to take care of her-his name is Dr. Stephen Wall. We are so very thankful for the manner and care he gives Mamma. Anyway, we made an appointment and drove up to Springfield (about 3 hours away), for a stress-echocardiogram on the 6th. Of course she walked on the speeding up/inclining treadmill for 6 minutes without too much trouble!!! That's my USS Battleship Mom!! They did discover that the things that are wrong with her heart have gone from mild to moderate. She has doubled up on one of her medicines which seems to be helping and we are scheduled for an angiogram (they tap into the artery in your wrist and shoot dye into your heart so they can see what's going on) on June 12th to make sure that there aren't any blockages. If there are any blockages, she will get a stent right there during the procedure, if not hopefully that will answer any questions Dr. Wall may have. He truly believes that he will be able to help Mamma with medicine for now and that she doesn't need a valve replacement. We ask that you keep Mamma and Dr. Wall in prayer that God will guide and direct him in the care for her.
We haven't been hiking for a couple of weeks now...but we will get back to it!! Sometimes life's busyness gets in the way, sometimes important chores, or planned meetings, or sometimes we just don't have the energy for it...but always in our hearts we think of the fresh air, the trees that cover the trail and provide shade, we think of the peaceful time to reflect on things while we walk along the carved out trail. It is so much easier when you know where you are going...if only we would slow down and approach the path of life in the same inanner... And we are both realizing that we are aging more and more. Mamma will be 82 in September and notices little things that are natural to aging...and I see that at 54 I won't be a superwoman forever. We are trying to cut things out of our lives that are non- essential and totally not important. We are trying to make things really count...and sitting here spending time with you is one of those things that really does count. Thanks for spending some time with us...it always warms our hearts!! ☺
Someone asked how far we are from the ocean?? We are almost 70 miles away. It takes about an hour and a half because of going through the "canyon." A super curvy road that has a lot of 25-35 mph curves. It is amazing to see semi-trucks or big land yachts (RV's) go through there. Sometimes I almost hold my breath because there isn't a lot of room to negotiate on some of the curves. Also...there are a lot of turn offs because of the poopy person who rides up your six (too close to your bumper) when all you want to do is enjoy the nice drive. I will tell you that the "nice drive” isn't what it used to be. There was an 86,000 acre fire down there last year that took out a lot of trees and a lot of beauty. -The spots that burned along the road have been logged to get the hazard trees down right away. The whole scene has changed...but life goes on and there always seems to be beauty in ashes...new beginnings.
Mamma and I are so very thankful for "New Beginnings." Some people do not like change...but you can't have new beginnings without change. We can't go from the place that we are unhappy in to the next place without change. We can't get rid of old habits or even bad habits without change. (I'm working on consuming less treats (cookies, candy bars, Sharrell's Lemon Tea Cake)...it requires change...but I truly want a "New Beginning" so I'm putting some skin in the game and giving it some grit!!) I don't honestly eat that much sugar, I don't have a weight issue either, but I want to get back to a cleaner consumption of food. Trust me...if the Lemon Tea Cake comes around...I will continue to consume it...it's the best!!! We can't reinvent ourselves without change and new beginnings.
If we want new beginnings in the spiritual world, we have to surrender our heart and will to Jesus and join Him in death, to join Him in life. 2nd Corinthians 5:17-18 in the Passion Translation says, “Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new. And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to Himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God." I'm telling you "New Beginnings" and change rock!! Who doesn't want to trade in all the old things that hurt us, that hurt others, and become an entirely new person?? We can't do it on our own...but we can become clay on God's potter's wheel and let Him mold us.
Isaiah 64:8 says, "But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand." This verse reveals that God is the Potter and we are His clay. It is a metaphor that describes how God shapes and molds us according to His will. Just as a potter shapes clay into a vessel, God shapes us into the people He wants us to be. Some people think that they couldn't handle surrendering to a God that wants to change everything about them...but how's life really going for you anyway? God doesn't want to strip us of who we are personality-wise. He isn't looking to make another robot that goes around saying, "Praise God." He wants to shape and mold our hearts and have a relationship with us and love us so much that we want to go around saying, "Thank You for saving my life God, I give You all my thanks and all my praise, and worship only You."
New Beginnings and changes aren't always easy. We continue to change and adapt at how we can continue Life Lines for as long as possible. October will be 30 years...wow! We continually fight the red tape of states and institutions as the policies change (we are going into our 3rd year of trying to send mail to 6 ladies in Alabama that we have been writing for 20 years because of change...what a sucky battle...but change isn't always easy), as some of you get moved, some go out to court, and some get released.
Speaking of new beginnings and some getting released...we want to give a quick shout out to Scott & Michelle in Illinois. He has been recently released and just sent us his first card with a picture of his wife and him. We are so thankful to reconnect with him...we have been writing back and forth for 24 years next month!
Know that once we connect in the heart, it is forever. God has built this family to stand the test of time. We are sure hoping that there is a Life Lines Hall in Heaven so that we can all gather together in person once and for all and have a real God hug!! Until then, know that we send our love and hugs through the mail...that makes them timeless. You can read our letters any time you need to be reminded that you have family on the outside that supports you, prays for you, and looks forward to the day when we will all be together!
Thank you to all who have sent in birthday cards, Mother's Day cards, warm wishes and greetings, and most of all...thank you to all who pray for us! We covet your prayers as we navigate through * changes and "New Beginnings"!!!!
I'm house/dog sitting for some friends while we are preparing this letter...so this time we have to say love,
Melanie Gayle, Joy, Bailey and Boomer, Gigi, and Lilly
She's a nice addition to our little pack of pups!! Take care and God be with you as you walk each and every day in the newness of Him!!
The Real Thing
Good Morning! I must admit that I am feeling a bit nostalgic. You see, I was remembering this newspaper clipping I have had since 1995. So, come on, let's go waaaay back and talk about it. But first, I want to say hello to some special friends who actually got that letter I mailed out October 20, 1995. So hello Alberto C., Gene G., Vincent A., Thomas K., and Dan L.
Yep, God brought us together back then...and we are still connected at the heart!!
I wanted to talk about that photo today. I think it was absurd back then-and it is still absurd today! Figures of stone, or metal, plastic or whatever do not drink from a spoon! There is no life there. It's just a thing.
I recently read that "In one of the temples in Japan, the worshippers run around a table 100 times, and every time they have completed a round, they throw a piece of wood into a chest. Once the laborious task is done, the exhausted worshipper goes home, under the impression that he has satisfied his god."
You know whatever our heart clings to is our "god," and when we cling to anything or anyone other than Almighty God who created us, we are guilty of idolatry-God alone must be first in our heart and life.
Here's the newspaper clipping and photo. In my article that was sent out with the photo I said: "How far has the world come to say that we evolved from monkeys or some slimy little thing in a pond! What about those who worship "Mother Earth," and "Mother Nature"? Then there are those who believe in
reincarnation and karma. How far has the world come, that people work very hard to find an explanation for life, rather than to say simply that Almighty God created the humans and the Earth." In closing, I said, "Wouldn't it be simpler to quit running away and simply say, 'I believe You are there, and I believe You are who You say that You are...Almighty God?"
DAILY COURIER, Grants Pasa, Oregon SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 199

Well, it's been almost 29 years since I sent out that photo and article. A lot has happened in those years and I have written about many things that happened in my life. Some of you are new to Life Lines and have not had the opportunity to read about my own story or the miracles that I have had in my own life. Let me just say that I was one messed up chick. I had trouble just trying to grow up. I was angry and carried a gun in my purse for years and I would have used it! The sad thing is that I hurt a lot of people. Then in November 1965-right there in my own kitchen--all by myself, I was sick of my life and I held up my hand and said, "Here I am Lord, take me, take my life." And that very moment God touched me and I felt a wonderful, warm, glowing feeling go down my hand, arm-my body, to my toes. For a few seconds I felt that I "glowed."
The touch as but a moment, but the memory will never die. God reached down that day and saved me. I knew I really knew that I had found Almighty God. You see-we can't save ourselves--but when I cried out to Him, Jesus reached down and grabbed hold of me-He set me free! And He changed my heart and my life. At that very moment I became His Child. All I can say is "Wow!!"
Now, I would like to share some truths I have found-I like to call them "Nuggets."
"You can't 'pick and choose' what you want in trying to find God for yourself. Jesus is the answer to the burdens of our heart and the hopelessness of our world."
"Some people accept that there is a 'Supreme Being' somewhere out there, but they say they can't believe anything more than that. Jesus is not in this category. He is not a 'something.' He is God-the Son, who stepped down from Heaven to save us, because we can't save ourselves.”
"Why is salvation great? Because we have a great need, which burdened the heart of a great God, who paid a great price by sending a great Savior (His Son, Jesus).”
"When we submit ourselves to God and come to depend on Him as our source, He gives us a new heart that loves Him. When we surrender our life and submit our will to God, He can take all the broken pieces of our life, and make something beautiful out of them...we are 'born-again' and set free, we have a new heart!"
A new heart-that's what God gave me that day-because I said yes and opened the door, God's Holy Spirit came in that day and little by little I began to change. My anger and hot temper dwindled down, and love (God's love) began to fill my heart and push the darkness out. He was delivering me from me!! You know the "I-Me-My-Mine" had to die out-the I, the Me, the My, and the Mine. Then more of God's love can take over in your heart. Here are a few more "Nuggets."
"Our relationship with the Lord transcends all our circumstances. This is why we can praise Him and enjoy His presence (in our heart) in the midst of the darkest circumstances. He is always near...right here in our heart.”
“God takes the weak and makes them strong. He takes the vile and makes them clean. He takes the worthless and makes them worthwhile. He takes the sinful and makes them sinless." (Billy Graham)
"Despite what we may perceive about God, He desires the best for our lives, and wants us to receive the freedom He has so readily made available to those who are willing to accept it." (Charles Stanley)
Well I have shared what is on my heart today, but I want to share about my Dad. As I remember growing up, my Dad was turned-off by church, and wouldn't even set foot in one- even though his dad was the song leader at church when he was growing up! Somehow he was just turned-off by church and church people. But...my Dad was 87 years old and 4 days before he died, he turned to Jesus. At times, if we tried to talk to Dad about the Lord, he just couldn't open up and trust God. He would say, “I need something I can hold on to." Well Dad finally experienced it. If you reach out your hand to God, even in the darkness of your life, you will feel the hand of God reaching back on the other side.
"The Gospel (the Bible) is not speculation, but fact. It is truth, because it is the record of a person (Jesus) who is the truth."
"The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ is the crowning proof of Christianity. If the resurrection did not take place, Christianity is a false religion. If it did take place, then Christ is God and the Christian faith is absolute truth." (Scientist Henry Morris)
"There is more evidence that Jesus rose from the dead than there is that Julius Caesar ever lived or that Alexander the Great died at the age of 33."
• "Becoming a born-again child of God is not some 'spiritual fluff—it is a real relationship with our Creator and Lord."
Well, thanks for hearing my words. In closing I want to share Billy Graham's words: "Don't leave Jesus in a manger, or on the Cross, or in the tomb. He is alive, and even now He wants to walk beside you every day.""
God's invitation is clear and non-negotiable. He gave His all-Jesus gave His life to free us from sin, and we must give Him our all...our heart and life.
Whatever you are looking for to fill that gaping hole in your life...why not grab His hand and never let go---He truly is the Real Thing!
Joy May 2024
Lesson 6: Love and Discipline
An Excerpt from "Lessons from a Sheep Dog" by Phillip Keller
It will be obvious by now that the mutual affection established between Lass and myself was very precious to both of us. It seemed to me at times that our intimate relationship was much more than merely a man and a dog, more than a shepherd and his sheep dog, more even than efficient coworkers. We had become special friends!
With her keen perception, sensitive instincts, and acute intelligence, Lass had a capacity not only to understand my commands but even to anticipate my wishes. It was this unusual awareness that made her such a remarkable worker. Because of this harmonious cooperation between us, the livestock operation prospered and flourished. The sheep were handled efficiently and with a minimum of disturbance. My own work was made much easier and more joyous. Lass herself was a totally fulfilled companion who reveled in all her responsibilities.
I sometimes thought of our overall relationship as a triad of triumph between master, friend, and flock- --all of it possible because of the loving co-operation of a Border Collie. Reflecting on this happy association we enjoyed at Fairwinds, I have often thought this is precisely the relationship Christ desires with us. More than anything He wants me to be His companion, His coworker, His friend in helping to tend His flock.
This is really the essence of that final discourse He shared with His eleven disciples before His death. It is recorded for us in great detail by John in his Gospel, chapters 14-17. Any person who wishes to grasp the true meaning of love for God should read and meditate over those superb insights.
Love for the Master is not some sentimental emotion that sweeps over the soul in moments of special piety. Love for Christ is a deliberate setting of the will to carry out His commands at any cost. It is the delight of accomplishing our Father's highest purposes, no matter how challenging.
The end result of such conduct is to bring sweet satisfaction to the Good Shepherd. Because of such single-minded service we sense His approval of our behavior. We know of a surety that we are loved and appreciated. And the ultimate end is that others benefit; others are blessed; others are cared for.
Jesus Himself put it this way: "This is My commandment. That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you" (John 15:12-14).
It should be pointed out emphatically that "to lay down one's life" for another means to put the interests and wishes of others ahead of one's own. It implies that to obey Christ and carry out His intentions is more desirable than "doing my own thing."
It is one thing to put this down with pen and paper. But it is the toughest lesson any of us can learn to live out in our daily duties. It simply is not natural for most of us to love God or love others in the dramatic discipline of a laid-down life. We are a selfish, self-serving people. We have the strange, worldly idea that to be of lowly service is to be used or abused. Yet God in Christ came among us in lowly service. He came to minister to us, to give Himself to us. And so, because He first loved us, we in turn are to be willing and ready to love Him and others (see John 3:16-17 and 1st John 3:16-17).
As the years went by at Fairwinds, I saw in ever-increasing clarity what Jesus meant when He spoke of His love for us and our love for Him. I began to understand the true implications and demands of a laid- down life. Continuously I was giving myself to Lass. I gave her my strength, my attention, my affection my loyalty, my friendship, my very life.
She in turn reciprocated this outpouring by giving back to me her vitality, her vigor, her enthusiasm, her cooperation, her love, her loyalty. Together all the benefits of this relationship were then poured out upon the flock. Our mutual energies and expertise were spent in caring for the sheep. It would be wonderful if this sheep dog story could end here on this noble note. But it cannot. For, to be true to the tale, there were some disappointing interludes.
There were times on which Lass did break faith. There were days when she did not stay steadfast. There were many distractions that came along which drew her away from her line of duty. Love so betrayed, demands discipline to be restored. There were grievous interludes for her, for me, and for the flock. To correct her and to mend this breach between us there had to be discipline. This was not easy or
pleasant, but it was absolutely essential. I loved Lass far too much to let her revert back to her Ôld, wretched lifestyle. I was too fond of her to allow her to waste her energies for naught. She was made for great things, intended for lofty service. So both of us would have to suffer to set her straight.
Discipline is never pleasant. The correction that comes with love causes pain both for the administrator and the recipient. Many of us prefer to push it all aside. We find it easier to simply brush bad behavior to one side, acting as if it did not matter. But true love demands discipline. If there is to be mutual trust, integrity, and loyalty again, then it must involve some suffering for us to learn this lesson. It was not easy to punish Lass. After all, she was my friend. It demanded self-discipline on my part to insist that she perform properly, up to her full potential.
To correct her conduct with stern words of a severe reprimand or even a sharp slap made her draw back with reproach. Her bright eyes would fill with foreboding. She would lay back her ears with remorse. She would crouch low, her tail drawn down between her legs, in a hang-dog posture.
For a few moments there was a distinct coolness between us. She knew full well she had failed, and she knew I was far from satisfied with her performance. I never allowed these interludes of discipline to last long. Correction came swiftly, it came surely, yet it was over in short order. Then I would call her to me quietly. I would speak to her softly in reassuring tones. "Lass, it's all over!" I would hold her close, rub her chest, run my hands over her head. "We're friends; all is well!"
Her eyes would begin to sparkle again as she looked up into my face. Sometimes she would reach out to lick my cheek with her tongue. Her body would quiver and she would begin to move her tail with pleasure.
The strict discipline had brought totai restoration of trust between us. We were fond and loyal friends again. Her highest good had been served. The best interests of all of us had been preserved. For me the entire area of God's discipline of my personal life was best learned from Lass.. Through such examples I came to understand implicitly what my Master's intentions are for me during those times when He corrects my conduct.
As the Spirit of God makes abundantly clear in Hebrews 12:6-11, "For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth...(disciplines)...Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby."
For years there has been prominent in the church an unbalanced overemphasis upon the love of God. There has been a universal tendency to teach that Christ is so compassionate, so kind that He does not discipline us for wrongdoing. There is a false impression that any old thing can go on, that God will simply forgive and forget all about it. This simply is not so. There is a price to pay for our perverseness. There is a discipline we deserve for wrongdoing. There is the Master's demand that we be faithful in service, serious in our responsibilities to Him-and others. We distort the true character of Christ if we assert that He will merely wink at wrong. He is grieved when we deliberately disobey His commands and selfishly ignore His wishes.
When Peter betrayed His Master the night before His crucifixion, it took one searching look to shatter the man's soul. He went out into darkness to break down in tears and remorse. In burning shame he was reduced from a tough, cursing fellow to a soul-shattered penitent.
Yet this was the man so swiftly restored after, the Master's resurrection. He was the servant spoken to with such reassurance beside the lake, "Peter-do you love Me?-Then feed My sheep!" Three times over In a triad of tenderness the bonds of trust, love, and loyalty were reestablished between Jesus and His friend. Like Lass we shrink back from the discipline of God. We find it grievous. We would rather it was set aside. It cannot be. It is for our best. It is for His benefit. It is for the eventual blessings of others whose lives we touch.
And when it is all over, the bonds of affection between Christ and ourselves are even stronger than before. For instinctively, deep within our own spirits we know we deserve discipline. We know the Master would not be true to Himself or to us if He simply let our misconduct slide into sinister selfishness. He disciplines because He cares, because He loves, because He heals. With this reassurance comes renewed joy. There is total restoration. There is sheer delight in once again doing His bidding.
Lesson 7: Available for Anything
An Excerpt from "Lessons from a Sheep Dog" by Phillip Keller
Perhaps the most unforgettable lesson I learned from Lass can best be summed up in three words: Available for Anything. The realization that though she was only a dog, she exhibited this remarkable trait in all of our years together, was tremendously challenging. In this story I have tried to convey some of the love, loyalty and excitement we shared as master and friend. Yet of all these varied experiences it was ultimately Lass who taught me best what it really means to be utterly abandoned to the Master's purposes. She showed me in her loving devotion what it costs to be always available for anything that needed to be done in the interests of the ranch and the flock.
This principle is best understood by recounting two entirely different types of duty she was expected to carry out. The first had to do with gathering up or counting sheep. Because of the very character of sheep-their helplessness, susceptibility to disease, and vulnerability to predators-they must be ever under the owner's constant scrutiny. By far the surest way to make certain all is well is for the sheepman to take a count every day. In this way he knows at once if every sheep is free from harm. I can recall the sense of foreboding that would sweep over me whenever I went into the pasture and found that one or several of the ewes or lambs was missing. I can still sense the despair that flooded over me when I came out in the morning to discover that either a cougar or stray dogs had wrought havoc among the flock during the night. Dead sheep or torn lambs would lie strewn in the fields. And only an accurate count would determine the devastating losses..
On other occasions, when the flock were fat and flourishing on the fallen acorns, it was quite common for the choicest ewes to become "cast"--unable to get back on their feet. They would soon die unless I found them in time to turn them over. It was always an ominous sign when the dark-winged buzzards wheeled in the sky above our terrain. Immediately I knew they were watching for a hapless sheep that might soon provide them with a gory banquet at its carcass. I would call Lass. "Well, girl, we'll have to gather up the sheep today!" She would race to my side, eager to go anywhere, anytime.
Some of our land lay in beautiful open fields with occasional clumps of trees scattered over it like a lovely English park. Other parts were wild and rough, especially along the shoreline. Some of this was rocky, with great granite outcroppings. Amid the boulders there were patches of wild roses, thorny blackberry tangles, old stumps, and down timber. The sheep loved to work their way into these spots searching for stray patches of sweet grass or other dainty herbs they relished. It was no easy thing to find all the flock in such difficult cut-over country. But this was an important part of the work entrusted to Lass. I would send her to fetch out every struggling, stray ewe and lamb.
"Fetch them in, Lass!" I would command her. "Go out and bring them home!" Without hesitating an instant she would be gone, pushing through the undergrowth, running over the rough rocks. It was stimulating to watch her work with such enthusiasm. She flung herself into the task until every sheep was brought out. There was a cost to the dog in all of this. She would become very weary. Her face would be scratched and torn by the thickets. Her coat would be clogged with burs and debris. Sometimes the pads of her feet would be lacerated with the sharp stones. Yet she went gladly, with happy abandon. She knew I knew what I was doing. And all she desired was to be a dynamic part of the whole project. Not once did she hesitate to hurl herself into the toughest tangle to gather up the flock.
Her selfless abandonment to my wishes made an enormous impact upon me. In quiet moments of reverie I would ask myself the soul-searching questions: "Am I this available to my Master? Am I as willing to fling myself into His work? Am I so devoted to Him? Does the matter of suffering deter me from duty?" More often than not Lass put me to shame.
Reflecting upon all of this I began to see why it is that Christ calls us, as His coworkers, to go into tough places. Being His friend is no cozy guarantee that life will always be either easy or even agreeable. There are simply bound to be some tough assignments, some suffering if we are to fully comply with His commands.
I never sent Lass into hard places to hurt her. But I put her into challenging circumstances to save the sheep. And it was out of all these endeavors together that she gradually matured and developed into a magnificent worker. All of us as God's people seem to shrink back from suffering. We are so often reluctant to undertake even the smallest assignment for the Master. We are reluctant to share our strength, time, or talents to touch others in trouble. We draw back from the distasteful situation where we might have to suffer a bit in order that others might be saved.
I saw all of this vividly as I worked with Lass. Her shining spirit and eager abandonment to my wishes combined to form a highly polished mirror in which I clearly saw reflected all the flaws of my own character-the failings of my own conduct toward Christ. God's gracious Spirit used the hearty service of this beautiful collie to break some of my own tough resistance to His will for me. If she could be so instantly available for anything, surely I could do as well for God.
Many of us fail to realize what a noble honor it is to be called a friend of God. We are not often shown what a stirring challenge it is to be called to suffer with Him. We do not seem to see that amid all the varied vicissitudes of life He really does know what He is doing with us. He can grasp the whole scheme of things and see far beyond our finite view. He is utterly in command and control of every situation. Then let us trust Him fully. Let us follow Him fearlessly. Let us fling ourselves with glad abandon into His enterprises. This Lass did with me-even in the darkest night and most dangerous engagements, This was the second way in which she proved her loyalty.
As the years went by at Fairwinds our happy times together were interspersed with challenging events that demanded extra determination for us to survive. The most frequent were attacks from both cougars and stray dogs at night.. We lived close to wild country where there were forested hills and wilderness terrain. From time to time the cunning panthers would come out of the dense forest and raid the flock. To warn us of the predators' stealthy approach at night I put bells on the sheep. If the sheep were startled in the dark they would leap to their feet and flee for their lives. The wild tinkle of the bells awakened me from sleep. I would leap out of bed, grab my flashlight, take the well-worn .303 rifle that stood by the door, and dash out into the fields. As I left the house in the dark, Lass would instantly be at my side-no need to even call her. With experience she, too, had learned to listen for the alarmed jangle of the sheep bells ringing when the flock fled. Leaping joyously beside me she would bound up in the dark and lick my hand as if to say, "Cheer up, Boss. This is a great adventure!" So off we would go side by side to see what the danger was.
Yet in all of this there was real danger for both Lass and myself. Rustlers were not averse to shooting the rancher's dog. Nor were marauding dogs slow to attack another strange dog in the dark. Even the presence of a panther on the prowl was enough to make us doubly alert to any danger. But Lass seemed to revel in this excitement. Not once did I ever see her cringe from our night forays in fear. Never did she decide she would rather remain in the cozy comfort of her kennel.
Some nights she and I would actually spend the entire night keeping watch in the fields. I would rest quietly in the grass, the rifle over my knees. She would lie crouched on guard beside me. Her head often rested on my lap, but her eyes never closed; her ears were ever alert for the faintest strange sound. If anything aroused her a deep growl would rumble in her chest and I would be ready with the rifle. These were intimate interludes for both of us. We were in this together. It was the tough way to meet a tough challenge, but we simply had to be on guard. Because of it we were able to keep the sheep from danger and protect them from their predators.
The Lord used Lass to teach me still another truth about Himself in the dark and difficult episodes of life! He is always there! He is fully alert and aware of the dangers abroad! He spares Himself no pains to protect us from those who would imperil our lives! It is well to remind ourselves often of the utter faithfulness of God. We are top prone to believe that He really is not with us, that He does not know what dangers confront us, that He is out of touch with things!
Lass helped me to understand that it is often in the darkest hour, during pressing danger, that the Master is closest to us. He cares, and He cares profoundly. It is His presence which gives us peace. It is His nearness which gives us hope. It is His protection which gives us life. Amid this He enjoys our company. He loves to have us alongside. He, too, finds consolation in the eager, alert watchfulness of His friends. In the midst of our danger there is delight. We need not be alarmed or anxious.
He is here! All is well between us! Bless His wondrous name!

Election 2024
Governor for the Great State of Washington State

1. WHAT PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE QUALIFIES YOU FOR THIS OFFICE?
I am retired from Public Service, Pierce County Fire District #7, now known as Central Pierce Fire and Rescue - Medic 1. I have extensive experience with collective bargaining with public employees, water and waste management. I am currently the President of Oak Hills Vegetable Farms, Inc., Oak Hills, Inc., a 73-year-old agricultural company doing business on agricultural research, field production and organic medicine in Washington State and the other 49 states are in the United States, as well as the Western Hemisphere.
Our heritage items for Oak Hills Vegetable Farms, Inc. are the Walla Walla Onions for bottled food production (the Washington State Official Vegetable), Kandy Sweet Corn and raw and liquified rhubarb, mixed with small acreages of other products. I am the lead researcher for a licensed laboratory Oak Hills, Inc and for Martin Lee Wheeler, Inc.. It is through licensed with the State of Washington, King County Health Department and the other 38 counties for food production food development and research development in Fall City which is an agricultural production district These two (2) companies also test organic foods and develop medicine.
I have also worked extensively and directly with many different cities, towns and governmental agencies throughout the State of Washington and surrounding states in developing health policies, safety and parking for farmer market blueprints.
These blueprints include all areas of government, i.e., police, fire, DOT, WADOT, Health Departments, Park and Recreation, City Budget Manager, Mayors etc.... to ensure that in the very beginning, the blueprint stayed alive for many years. Much detail was placed into the blueprint for the development of area farms, schools and denominations, (red, yellow, brown, black or white) of all types.
Many of my recommendations were for the Park and Recreation Divisions to handle rules, regulations, policies and procedures for the market and/or events for the city, town or school district. I have worked extensively with local and state health departments around wages, hours and working conditions. I was on a stakeholder team to negotiate with King County Health Department Public Union contracts.  All licenses are attached to the name of Martin Lee Wheeler, who is in good standing with the Washington State Department of Professional licensing in Olympia, Washington.

2. WHO ARE TWO OF YOUR BEST-KNOWN CAMPAIGN SUJPPORTERS IN OKANOGAN COUNTY?
a. Pete L. Simmons (retired law enforcement)
b. Cedonia Community Church
c. Omak High School FFA
d. Okanogan Conservation District
e. Local Fire Districts, to include, Department of Natural Resource, Forest Rangers local and nationally

3. HOW MUCH DO YOU ANTICIPATE RASING FOR THIS RACE?
$1,000,000,000.00 (one million dollars), plus 95% of the funds raised have come from Martin Lee Wheeler. The other 5% is being allowed by citizens will be through ANEDOT, Inc. which can be accessed in the Wheeler4Governor.com Website. Full documentation is sent to the donor.

4. LIST ALL FARMING ORGANIZATIONS, BUSINESS ASSOCIATIONS, AND POLITICAL ASSOCIATIONS FROM WHOM YOU ARE LIKELY TO RECEIVE SUPPORT:
Our acceptance of funds is through ANEDOT, Inc., a very selective financial monetary gathering company through our Wheeler4Governor.com website. Martin Lee Wheeler is the only person who has been accepted by ANEDOT, Inc., due to its high standards of prior financial handling of funds. It provides very complete paper work for the donor for IRS requirements.  95% of the funds for the 2024 Gubernatorial run by Martin Lee Wheeler is being handled by Brink and Saddle, the other 5% funds collected is going through ANEDOT, Inc.
Martin Lee Wheeler will not be bought as a person. That is why he has been a successful public servant in the fire service and now in private company dealings nationwide with many different vendors. His morals, character, and integrity will not be lowered.

5. WHAT IS THE MOST PRESSING ISSUE FACING OKANOGAN COUNTY AT THIS TIME IN YOUR OPINION?
Martin Lee Wheeler has been following the Okanogan Conservation District helping to prepare Okanogan residents with possible 2024 forest fires evacuations, medical and other emergencies, Martin Lee Wheeler is also well read with the information concerning the "Apex" animal situations, concerning wolves, cougars and most currently the "grizzly bear" releases into the Okanogan County Forest areas of Washington State.
But a bigger arena is the loss of ground water for public use, for irrigation of farm land and public water-ways. i.e., Columbia River and the many lakes, rivers and streams in Okanogan County surrounded by land easements.

6. IF YOU WERE IN OUR POSTION AS A CANDIDATE EVALUATION COMMITTEE, WHAT IS THE ONE QUESTION THAT YOU WOULD ASK AND WHY?
Governor Martin Lee Wheeler Question: How can you lower our taxes in and around Okanogan County, and in the other 38 Washington State Counties?
Answer: The real estate tax on all Washington State properties is very much out of control. Those that are legal owners with a property description outlined by a mathematical survey on the property have a real advantage if you know the formula for change. Martin Lee Wheeler does know that formula. You will find that our campaign office and Oak Hills Vegetable Farms, Inc., Corporate Western Washington Headquarters address 4489 334th PI SE in Fall City, Washington has the amount of only $478.00 a year legally in King County property taxes. That includes the present licensed laboratory. There are no tricks and/or special permits. I will bring this fact to all thirty-nine (39) counties in Washington State. Once the property taxes are lowered then I will proceed in addressing employment taxes. We do not want to destroy all of the areas of tax development. We need fire departments, both volunteer and professional, police, libraries and roads to function each day for the legal citizens of Washington State. That is why the "Line-Item Veto" is so powerful from the desk of Governor Martin Lee Wheeler. His ink pen will change the direction very quickly in the State of Washington.

7. HOW MUCH INCOME DO YOU THINK THE AVERAGE OKANOGAN COUNTY FARMER OR RANCHER EARNS AND HOW DO YOU PROPOSE TO PROTECT OR IMPROVE THEIR PROFITABILITY?
The current annual salary through IRS records may possibly be $41,890.00, (forty-one thousand, eight-hundred ninety and no/100.) Other areas would also need to be looked at like a second person working to provide funds to help the family through farming, fishing and forestry employment. It is very important that Okanogan officials keep protecting all areas of public grounds with common sense principals. When state and federal policies collide, federal policies usually prevail. We all need to get as much input as possible in every federal situation.
Transportation of products out of Okanogan County via truck transport is very expensive, due to the inflation of fuel and taxes. This also occurred in the late 1940's, which is well documented in Washington State Conservation District records.
The Carbon Tax must be voted out by the Citizens of Washington State. Why? It will put immediate income into citizens pockets by lowering fuel taxes. The domino effect will occur in all areas of business plans.
More than once in radio interviews, Martin Lee Wheeler has stated, Open quote, "This Carbon Tax must be bankrupted 100% by the voters of Washington State in November of 2024." Close quote. Lowering the Carbon Tax is advised by well know economists who say this will help began to restore profitability to Washington State farms. "Make Farming Great Again!" You can produce all you want to sell, but you must have a product that sells retail and/or someone who wants to buy it wholesale.
The price of wages, fertilizer and fuel has led to loss of profit for a farmers or ranchers and businesses. Families now need to run their household budgets just like a business. Pennies count in everything we do with our families. Lowering the taxes on these areas, (Carbon Tax) will allow the farms, ranches, businesses, and families to continue into the next year with savings. (Borrowing will lead to other problems for any person if a budget is not established.)

8. DO YOU SUPPORT PUBLIC EMPLOYEE AND/OR FARM LABOR UNIONS?
Wages, Hours and Working conditions are part of the public labor unions for the State of Washington. The Government Unions have to be dealt with in negotiations.
May the best "Economic Executive Leadership" team bring the Best Mathematics and Facts to the Round Table.
Martin Lee Wheeler will bring that to the State of Washington's "Negotiations Round Table."
That is what built Central Pierce Fire and Rescue- Medic 1.
The United States of America was built by negotiations between two (2) parties, not just one. We must bring back the art of negotiations. Otherwise, the whole system brakes apart from a one-sided view point. The State of Washington is very close to breaking in all 39 (thirty-nine) counties.

9. PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR STANCE ON IMMIGRATION REFORM.
The United States of America was built on immigration. Every person red, yellow, brown, black or white must enter the United States of America correctly.
Our Northern border needs full protection with no exceptions for the legal citizens of Washington State.
"Protect the Border of Washington State!"

10. WHAT AS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL CAN YOU DO FOR THE CITIZENS OF OKANOGAN COUNTY THAT YOUR OPPONENT(S) CANNOT?
Martin Lee Wheeler understands the complex situations of water rights. If we lose the Columbia River coming out of Canada, the State of Washington would have a serious situation. Martin Lee Wheeler has been involved with the Whatcom County Water War. The company he is leading as the head executive, looks at properties to place into agriculture production. Each property has different set of challenges. One thing that remains the same for all areas of Washington State properties is “Water Rights." He as a property owner has the responsibility to understand building codes, Washington Administrative Law and the Revised Codes of Washington State, (RCW's} to ensure your property rights are not cancelled by a very small line that carries the words, "No Illegal activity."
The legal easement arena is a very sensitive area. Caution, Warning, Danger!! One must understand the legality and how it is applied in a court of law before a judge who may be making a ruling. Right-of-ways surround primitive roads and any tax- payer developed road-way.  Once a law is signed, it is very hard to change its direction. It can be very expensive to litigate through the Superior Court Jungle in Washington State. Every property owner needs to understand his or her legal rights. Continuing education is key for property owners in the State of Washington.
Martin Lee Wheeler understands how the Indian Tribes of Washington State are working to take water rights and property from citizens. They do have a legal plan. It can be stopped in its tracks in terms of not selling to an Indian Nation Representative.
Okanogan County has some very complicated federal law areas. Logistically Okanogan has the largest topographical land mass of all 39 counties, and has two (2) nations that are under federal law protection. The elected Congressional Representatives need to be able and willing to work with the Governor of the State of Washington for the benefit of not just the citizens of Okanogan County, but all Washington State citizens and visitors, who view and enjoy the beauties of the county. Okanogan truly is the recreation and farming-belt of Washington.
The State of Washington has been deliberately run into the worst economic inflation since the 1940's. Recorded evidence demonstrates this fact.
The strategy must change immediately if farms, ranches, businesses and families are to survive the next few years.
Martin Lee Wheeler understands the domestic and commercial water issues. It is real and is serious to the general public, farms and ranches of Washington State. Property owners have a responsibility to conduct themselves correctly when it comes to drilling a well. It requires a permit to be filed. The Department of Ecology has been weaponized against the Citizens of Washington State for the Indian Tribes. This must be stopped, now!!

11. HAVE YOU EVER VOTED ON OR ENCOURAGED AN ELECTED OFFICAL TO PASS LEGISLATION AND/OR ORDINANCES THAT INFRINGES UPON INDIVIDUAL PRIVATE PROPERY RIGHTS?
No!! I am a private and commercial property owner. I have looked at those areas very carefully to be fair in giving an opinion. We are also required to be good stewards of our properties. I have one piece of property that has over 30,000 (thirty thousand) pages in the clean up of the property. The soil associated with this property has some of the most unique organics in the world. It has been well documented with the King County Conservation District in the Historical area of soil management for Fall City, which is an Agricultural Production District.
This legal case is the largest for Hills, Clark, Martin and Petersons Law Firm's and three (3) other law groups. I am surround by the best legal minds in the country, to include nine (9) other legal scholars that are all in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association and federal courts.

12. WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE ARE THE PROPER USES OF EMIONANT DOMAIN?
When the two (2) legally represented negotiating teams enter into a legal impasse, Eminent Domain is used to improve the public's position. i.e., Bethel School District vs. Safeway. This property was built into the Pierce County Skills Center for high school students. It was done correctly. The problem that Safeway had was they got greedy and lost thousands of dollars in the sale to Bethel School District. If they (Safeway) had followed their game plan, they would have stayed out of Eminent Domain Law Judication and received fair market value. The school was built and has a full
vocational course curriculum for high school students.
"The public always wins when that law is enacted in the best interest of the public."
"Patience is Simple, But not always Easy!”
By Martin Lee Wheeler

13. DO YOU THINK COMPREHENSIVE PLANS OR GROWTH MANAGEMENT PLANS SHOULD INCLUDE CONSERVATION EASEMENTS?
As long as the easement is for the repair and/or installment of a power pole only or emergency vehicles as intended under license, other than this it can be weaponized.
No other reason for an easement. The Indian Nation is using the easement clause to get near a flowing waterway, or by-way...Period. If you don't understand real-estate law, it can be used against you. Example: An 8' fence in King County requires a permit due to the height. It must be at least 5' (five) feet away from the property line. That property line can be used as leverage against encroachment of a legal owner on the other side of the property.

14. WHAT IS YOUR STANCE ON THE USE OF RATEPAYER/TAXPAYER DOLLARS TO TAKE LAND AND/OR WATER OUT OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR?
Let's call a Spade a Spade. We are fully aware of what the Indian Nation in Washington State is trying to accomplish with their legal strategy towards property owners of Washington State. They are planning to purchase the property and add it to the reservation through the Federal Department of Interior. It is happening right NOW on Ruston Way in Tacoma, Washington!!

15. WHAT IS YOUR VIEW REGARDING WATER USAGE, ALLOCATION AND OWNERSHIP?
The property owner needs to understand that proper application of H20 (water) as applied to the product they are growing. It is essential that these practices be used to conserve every drop of water. You may not have the luxury of “copious” amounts of water, (250 gallon or more per minute, gpm) at your disposal to place on the products you desire to survive and be sold for a profit, i.e., fruit, hay, berries, corn etc.... Wise placement of water is now very critical in all 39 counties in Washington State.

16. OKANOGAN COUNTY BORDERS TWO SOVERIGN NATIONS. HOW WOULD YOU IMPROVE COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN THESE SOVERIGN NATIONS AND THE CITIZENS OF OKANOGAN COUNTY REGARDING ISSUES THAT IMPACT OKANOGAN COUNTY?
Canada has a border. The Okanogan Indian Nation has a border. We need to guard our borders. One needs to enter into the United States of American correctly and legally from Canada. Our Indian Nation friends need to conduct themselves correctly and legally.
Illegal immigration should not be tolerated. The other border in Okanogan County Indian Nation is federal. The laws are very complex. The Indian Nation is attempting to buy up all private land that they can to enter it into the Department of Interior to add it to the Indian Reservation. It is happening right now.

17. HOW CAN THE OFFICE YOU ARE CAMPAIGNING FOR INFLUENCE THE ENERGY CRISIS IMPACTS ON AGRICULTURE?
November 6, 2024 the State of Washington Voters have the opportunity to remove the Carbon Tax. If it is not repealed, it will bankrupt every person who uses fuel of any type in Washington State.
Open quote, "Let's bankrupt it first, the "Carbon Tax” by removal, by a legal vote by legal citizens November 6, 2024!!"
And Get
Martin Lee Wheeler Elected to
Governor For the Citizens of Washington State.
"Make Farming Great Again"
"If you see Something, Say, Something!"
This is a very serious matter towards all farms, ranches, businesses, government sites and family homes.
It will "immediately" bless everyone with more funds in their pockets in all thirty-nine counties in Washington State. Okanogan will see the profit levels raise the fastest due to the distance they have to travel with a product via truck that goes to market in a port area in Washington State.

18. PLEASE EXPLAIN YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE ENDANGERED SPEICES ACT.
We must go back to “Spring Bear Hunts as outlined with the Washington State Department of Fish and Game licensing. We must open up legal hunts with the blessings from the Washington State Department of Fish and Game Director.
I will be bringing in a new director for the Department of Fish and Game. He will be well accepted in the State of Washington. When these bears wake up in the spring, they are starving and they eat everything in sight.
The deer population, (Whitetail and Mule - both local and migratory mule deer) in Okanogan County has gone down tremendously. Why? Apex predators! It can be proven.

19. DO YOU SUPPORT THE INTRODUCTION, RE-INTRODUCTION AND/OR PROBIGATION OF APEX PREDATORS IN WASHINGTON STATE?
To understand apex, one needs to acknowledge, an apex animal does not have any natural enemies. They are on top of the food chain. If they are allowed to propagate unhindered, they will wipe out all wildlife, and livestock of all varieties. Predatory attacks from these predators have already occurred in Washington State. They will continue to occur if left unchecked. I am one of those persons who have had an encounter with an apex predator. It was well documented at Swedish Hospital in Issaquah, Washington for future reference. It occurred on one of our farm properties.

20. WHY SHOULD OKANOGAN COUNTY FARM BUREAU RECOMMEND WSFB PAC ENCORSING YOU?
I have attached the Washington State Voter Pamphlet information, along with a picture of me that will be used in the voter's pamphlet.
The current governor has done everything in his power to destroy the farms, ranches, properties and businesses in all 39 (thirty-nine) counties in Washington State. Why? Because he has an agenda outside of the good of the people in Washington State.
"We the People"
will stop the direction the current administration is taking Washington State.
Martin Lee Wheeler
will be the next
Washington State Governor.
2024

21. LIST TWO OBJECTIVES YOU PLAN TO ACHIVE DURING YOUR TERM IN OFFICE:
a. We need to bring in comprehensive Economic Bar line Audit in for all
departments at the state level. Martin Lee Wheeler will bring the finest forensic CPAs from Brink and Saddler to help with those audits.
b. To be a major advocate for farmers, ranchers and businesses in all thirty-nine
(39) counties of Washington State. "Make Farming Great Again." "If you see something, say something."
c. To understand the complexities of farming, ranching and forest management
industries, you either have to be actively involved in running daily operations, or have been raised around it. The areas of the water, soil and management are critical for making decisions that affect the livelihoods of all who participate in these businesses.
d. New directors need to be appointed as soon as possible. Martin Lee Wheeler
has many of his director positions already interviewed. The three (3) top ones are Washington State Patrol, Washington State Park and Recreation Director, and Washington State Health Department. The current directors will be asked to resign and re-apply for the position.

Okanogan County Farm Bureau
And
Washington State Voters
In this competitive business world, an unselfish helping hand is rare indeed. Fighting the tendency to self-absorption is difficult as pressures escalate. Yet, there is much gratification knowing that your voting power to get Martin Lee Wheeler elected Governor by the State of Washington legal voters who are red, yellow, brown, black or white will be beneficial to so many lives.
The first round of running for Governor I said, open quote, "I am not asking for your vote, I am asking for you to not give up!” This round of voting August 6 of 2024, “I am asking now for your vote, because you never gave up and neither did !!" This vote for Governor for the State of Washington will be critical to all Citizens of Washington State.
Because of your last votes for me, I was able to begin the next round of running for Governor for the Great State of Washington with great confidence. While it's up to me to present a clear blueprint for the State of Washington on how we can recover and move forward with great strength. It will not be possible without your support the Washington State legal voters. THANK YOU, for reaffirming my belief in the goodness of human nature.

Best Regards

Pam’s Story

Pam's Story
In a recent email, I read about a woman named Pam, who knows the pain of considering abortion. More than 24 years ago, she and her husband Bob were serving as missionaries to the Philippines and praying for a fifth child. Pam contracted amoebic dysentery, an infection of the intestine caused by a parasite found in contaminated food or drink. She went into a coma and was treated with strong antibiotics before they discovered she was pregnant.
Doctors urged her to abort the baby for her own safety and told her that the medicines had caused irreversible damage to her baby. She refused the abortion and cited her Christian faith as the reason for her hope that her son would be born without the devastating disabilities physicians predicted. Pam said the doctors didn't think of it as a life, they thought of it as a mass of fetal tissue.
While pregnant, Pam nearly lost their baby four times but refused to consider abortion. She recalled making a pledge to God with her husband: If you will give us a son, we'll name him Timothy and we'll make him a preacher.
Pam ultimately spent the last two months of her pregnancy in bed and eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy August 14, 1987. Pam's youngest son is indeed a preacher. He preaches in prisons, makes hospital visits, and serves with his father's ministry in the Philippines. He also plays football. Pam's son is Tim Tebow.
The University of Florida's star quarterback became the first sophomore in history to win college football's highest award, the Heisman Trophy. His current role as quarterback of the Denver Broncos has provided an incredible platform for Christian witness. As a result, he is being called The Mile-High Messiah.
Tim's notoriety and the family's inspiring story have given Pam numerous opportunities to speak on behalf of women's centers across the country. Pam Tebow believes that every little baby you save matters. I pray her tribe will increase!
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always!

3-Pronged Strategy to Combat Costly Highway Graffiti

Pronged Strategy To Combat Costly Highway Graffiti

curated

Democrats are trying to clean up everything before the election! What they did not expect was the volume of damage from graffiti for almost one-quarter mile into the       tunnels. They need to shut down the whole freeway for days to clean. It is a confined space that will require workers to wear masks while on the job. Read more

I have known Martin for a short time but I have found him to be a man of integrity and passion. He is a firm believer in the US Constitution and the rule of law. Martin shares the same beliefs that I have when it comes down to the following subjects:

  • Trickle down depression
  • Excessive taxation of the farming community
  • The destruction of the livestock industry via predation
  • Protection of the Second Amendment

There are many more areas of common interest, but I will limit my comments to the above four items.

First of all, the trickle-down depression is caused by the democrat’s idea of making the corporations “pay their fair share” and “carbon allowances.” These misguided fools do not realize that all cooperation income taxes and carbon allowances are figured into the cost of goods sold and that those costs are passed on to the gullible and unwitting public.

Farmers are especially hard hit by the carbon allowance as it directly affects the cost of diesel. As I understand it, there is a provision for some sort of credit to large bulk purchasers of diesel, but not so much for the small farmer. Martin will address this injustice.

As for predator control, the bunny-hugging, leaf-licking liberals value the life of a wolf over that of a homeless vet. Wolves are eating us out of house and home! I trapped wolves in Alaska for over 15 years and they do not just prey on the sick and weak. They are killers of opportunity and will take whatever creature they happen upon. I have seen them come into the outskirts of Fairbanks and eat pet dogs right off their runs.

Wolves are decimating our wildlife. Just ask any hunter how many elk there are now as compared to the numbers in prior years. Martin and I share a common belief and while some wolves can be a good thing, too many (as is the case now), is a disaster.

The Second Amendment is being slowly eroded by the liberal left. This has to stop.

I firmly believe that the Second Amendment needs to be protected at all costs.  I am a lifetime member of the NRA and am at the Golden Eagle Status.

Vote for Martin Lee Wheeler for Governor!

Freedom For Women and Men

We Want to Give Women and Men Freedom

The Republicans have always been welcoming of people of many different backgrounds.

The first black man ever to be elected to the U.S. Congress, Joseph Rainey, was a Republican. So was the first black man ever to serve in the U.S. Senate, Hiram Revels. Frederick Douglass, a former slave and the greatest anti-slavery advocate of all time identified as an independent  inside of the Republican Party. Booker T. Washington, the great black educator and civil rights leader, who was also a former slave, was a Republican.

All of these persons were active during the1800’s. In more recent times, Colin Powell became the first black Secretary of State in 2005. He was appointed to that position by  George W. Bush, a Republican President. The first black woman to hold the office of Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, was later appointed by Bush to take Powell's place after Powell finished serving in that office. Rice was and is a dedicated member of the Republican Party.

The 2016 presidential election also featured Republican candidates from many different ethnic backgrounds. The 2020 Washington State Gubernatorial GOP candidate lineup had more than three candidates from different ethnic backgrounds. Ben Carson, the famous neurosurgeon,  who is black, was a strong contender in the contest for the presidency in that year. Two other important figures in the 2016 race for the Republican presidential nomination were Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, who are both Hispanic.

A 2020 poll from Asian Americans Advancing Justice found that 48% of Vietnamese Americans intended to vote for Donald Trump, the Republican candidate in that year's presidential election.

The Republican Party was also founded to advance the right to vote and to run for public office. Important early feminists like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton were both Republicans. Jeannette Rankin, the first woman ever elected to U.S. Congress, was a Republican. The first and only female governors of Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Utah, and South Carolina were all Republicans.

Most importantly, the Republican Party is defined by a diversity of ideas. When it was created some 170 years ago, it started as a combination of several different, small political parties. These parties included the Free-Soil Party, the Locofocos, and the Working Men's Party.

The Free-Soil Party was mainly concerned with stopping slavery from being established in the new U.S. states. The Locofocos were devoted to fighting political corruption in New York City. The Working Men's Party was an early labor union that wanted to change the law to increase the number of hours allowed per day. All of these factions were united by a desire to abolish slavery in the United States.

In the 1980s, a similarly diverse array of different groups came together to elect Ronald Reagan, a Republican, as President of the United States of America. This alliance, called a Coalition, was composed of social conservatives, civil libertarians, and the foreign policy hawks.

The social conservatives believed in traditional morality and valued religious freedom. The  civil libertarians supported reduced government spending, low taxes, and  minimal regulations on business. The foreign policy hawks were in favor of an aggressive attitude toward the Soviet Union and believed that the Soviets could be defeated.

This belief later turned out to be correct when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991.

These groups of people, whether they were separated by race, gender, or worldview, were all able to come together as Republicans because they all wanted to do one thing: to give Freedom to women and men!

America’s Economic Checkup

A routine checkup of America's economic condition indicated a nation as hale and hearty in body and mind as that sprightly, energetic fellow
sitting in the Oval Office. Let's review the details.

Inflation Remains Elevated

The check-up began, as they all do, with the blood-pressure cuff, which found that the pressure is still too high. (In this analogy, currency is the
lifeblood circulating through an economy, and inflation is the blood pressure.) …

Meanwhile, those cardiovascular economists at the Federal Reserve are contemplating an end to America's high inflation-pressure medication --
raising interest rates -- due to the unpleasant side effects. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said last week that the Fed was "not far" from
the economic confidence it would need to start cutting interest rates.

As for the patient's heightened inflation-pressure, the doctors seem to hope it will go away on its own. It's true that core inflation is steadily
declining, but only slowly. Core inflation has fallen 0.1 percentage point every two months since September 2023. At that rate, reducing core
inflation from 3.8% to 2.0% (the target rate) will take 36 months, or three years. Given the (unlikely) assumption that interest rate cuts will not
rekindle inflation, the Fed would not meet its target rate until 2027.

The Solar Eclipse

On Monday, March 25, 2024, the sun, earth and moon will perfectly align, creating a penumbral lunar eclipse two weeks before a total solar eclipse
transverses the continental U.S.

WND spoke with Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries about the celestial events. Biltz deeply understands the connection between eclipses
and biblical holidays…

While the science is clear, Biltz emphasizes that the deeper significance of these phenomena is biblical…

"The number one reason for an eclipse is to be a sign," he explained. "It is a sign that is beyond man's control, something he cannot manipulate."…

Pastor Biltz emphasized that the Hebrew calendar must be studied to understand the significance of these celestial signs.

"Our Gregorian calendar is based only on the sun. It's a great calendar, very scientific, but it's not the one God uses," he emphasized. "God said to
let both the sun and the moon determine the times. And we can only have a total lunar eclipse or a solar eclipse on a full moon...

"Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a time for everything, but by using a solar calendar, most of Christianity's plucking at planting time and planting at plucking time, because they don't know what time it is," Biltz said. "They don't know what the season is."

Earthquake Swarms Off Pacific

An area off the coast of Washington state is being shaken by hundreds and hundreds of earthquakes.  So is this an indication of potential trouble
for the Cascadia Subduction Zone?

At this point, there is so much that we don't know.  Scientists are telling us that the quakes are centered around a large underwater volcano.  The
underwater volcano does not pose a threat at all, but if an enormous earthquake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone were to trigger a giant tsunami
that slams into the west coast, that would be a historic disaster of epic proportions.

The Cost To Maintain The Same Standard Of Living

curated

I used to really enjoy going to the grocery store.  I would relentlessly hunt for deals, and I would show off what I was able to find when I got home.
But now all of the bargains are gone.

Instead, there are ridiculous prices and there are even more ridiculous prices.

The prices for some of the things that I normally buy have doubled.  Of course the soaring cost of living is the direct result of decisions that our
leaders have made.  They just kept borrowing, spending and flooding the system with money, and now the cost of living is wildly out of control.

According to CBS News, on average U.S. households must now spend an extra $11,434 per year just to maintain the same standard of living that
they were enjoying when Joe Biden first entered the White House...

This is insane…read more

Anti-Christian Violence Expected To Explode

curated

Anti-Christian violence in the U.S. has risen dramatically in recent years, but what we have seen so far is nothing compared to what is coming if the 2024
presidential election goes a certain way.  You see, the truth is that most of the violence being directed at Christian churches is being done for political reasons.

Whether it is accurate or not, many on the left consider evangelical Christians to be Donald Trump's most hardcore supporters, and church buildings are the
most visible representation of the evangelical movement…

According to a report that was released by the Family Research Council, church attacks in the United States have risen 800 percent during the last six years...

Semi Bird
P.O. Box 1070
Richland, Washington 99352

Dave and Semi,

I pray that this finds you both in good Spirits and Health.

Read the last sentence again, I truly mean what I just said to you both, Stay Safe!!

I am respectfully asking you both to consider backing me for Governor of the Great State of Washington. You're now thinking why?

This is why. The next Governor of the State of Washington will need to be talented, skilled, and have the ability to handle a state checkbook that will be
running on empty…Big Time. You know that this current administration has run this state into the ground. You both have skills, however, nothing like
Martin Lee Wheeler. I have captured King County...What...? How is that possible? Look at the site on the Fall City/Preston Road just off of 1- 90. My name, Martin Lee Wheeler, is on the Adopt-A-Road signs on that major roadway and more are going upby a small army of people inside of King County who are employees.

They mean business, and so do I. If you both were qualified, you would have been professional firefighters. I have a huge number of individuals covering the entire State and others coming into the State of Washington to help win this race against the Democrats. I have a skilled group of I
attorneys who have coached me for many years.

The time we are in is very serious for people. As we enter further into this 2024 season, you and I along with all citizens may enter a period of time when food will be very short, especially for women, infants, and children. That is why our theme “MakeFarming  Great Again” is taking is taking off like wildfire in the State of Washington. You both know that I run one of the most successful farming companies in the United States of America,
Oak Hills Vegetable Farms, Inc., and Oak Hills, Inc. I have just incorporated my name, Martin Lee Wheeler, Inc. Why? When you have the finest CPA  groups in the county, ‘Brink and Saddler’, who are also the cofounders of the Public Disclosure Commission, (PDC), you have access to tons of
information well before you and/or the general public will have access to it. Along this line, during this time of potential war, I  also have an established relationship with all military branches.

You both are great men and I believe you both are of the faith. I am not religious!! I am born-again. I have a personal experience with my Lord
and Savior.

On March1, 2018, Washington State became a major ally and trade partner with the State of Israel. Neither of you will ever be able to get near the individuals I brought in for that event.

Our PDC Accountwill go through the roof this spring. I have the same website builder as ‘Trump 2024’ for disseminating information and collecting
the necessary dollars to finish the race. As Dave said, at the Grays Harbor GOP meeting, “Where's Wheeler?”. He is everywhere in the State of Washington and across the United States of America. The Walla Walla Onion is a gorilla.

Read the last paragraph again very carefully and consider backing me to take out the Democrats. You both have areas the public is very quickly backing
away from.

You do have my word. I will protect both of your areas and will make Washington Great Again.

Stay Safe. Always know you are in my prayers. Shalom!

Best Regards,

Close Call with A Dangerous Tree Near the Office

Close Call with A Dangerous Tree Near the Office

Fall City is a beautiful city in King County. The water is clean, the air is fresh, and you have the homey feeling of a small town. But when a nearby tree adjacent to your office proves to be dangerous you need to know how to handle the situation.

That day in October of 2021 limbs from the tree fell upon the power lines and caught fire. The wind brought burning limbs onto the office roof rallying Martin and Celia to take quick action to save the building from going up in flames. To Martin Lee Wheeler, a retired firefighter, it was almost another day at the firehouse except it was their office, Martin, a garden hose, and a much smaller ladder. Not just another day at the office.

They quickly called the fire department as they needed to be on-site to provide a case number. When you call in a dangerous situation with a tree this is what you need to do first.

Martin and Celia will always be grateful for the following four people at King County who handled the problem with appropriate urgency so that one dangerous tree would not cause further damage to their building or that of a neighbor.

Those four people are Dow Constantine, King County Executive, Kathy Lambert, King County Councilmember, John Taylor, Director, King County Department of Local Services, and Trisha Davis, Director, King County Road Services Division.

We are posting this article as a service to you if you should ever need to take action regarding a dangerous tree near your home or office, or if you see such trouble likely to occur on the county roads you travel. Unstable trees can fall without warning causing tragedies. We have all heard of tragic accidents along our roads and we see the crosses where loved ones have perished. Please be aware when driving or walking. Don’t just notice the beauty of creation around you. Be aware of detached hanging limbs or trees that may be storm-damaged. There is a reason they are called widow-makers.

If you have trees around your home make it a point to examine them from time to time, and notice if the ground is soggy due to much rainfall. Over time, in the Pacific Northwest, wind and rain can cause considerable damage. Let’s be vigilant, and do our best to prevent tragedies. If you see a problem call the local fire department first.

If the problem is on a county roadway, it is the responsibility of the county to prevent an accident. If it is in King County, call the King County Road 24/7 Helpline: 206-477-8100 or toll-free at 800-527-6237.

If you notify the appropriate offices in your county before someone is hurt, the county will not be able to claim that an accident was an “act of God”, because their office could have prevented the problem from occurring.

Pushing Back on Taxes

Effort to Repeal WA Capital Gains Tax, Plus Other Initiatives

Signatures for last of 6 measures turned in to secretary of state

curated

A conservative group’s effort to eliminate Washington’s capital gains tax, among other initiatives, took a step forward last week when it turned in a petition with nearly 420,000 signatures to the Secretary of State’s Office.

The six initiatives pursued by Let’s Go Washington are part of a larger effort to push back on legislation passed by the Democratic-controlled Legislature.

The group’s goal is to get all six on the November 2024 ballot.

On Thursday afternoon, 424,896 signatures for the sixth and final initiative, which advocates for allowing people to opt out of Washington’s long-term care program established by the WA Cares Act, were turned in. Allowing people to opt out could fiscally undermine the program, according to Jessica Gomez, campaign manager of We Care For WA Cares.

Let’s Go Washington, which is being bankrolled by Redmond businessman Brian Heywood, has spent more than $6 million to gather the signatures since June with a mix of volunteers and paid signature collectors.

“I’m putting this out there for a vote,” Heywood said this week. “Let’s give everybody a vote on these, and if they don’t pass, if I’m wrong and people don’t support these ideas, then the people have spoken.”…

In its first year, nearly $900 million was collected from the capital gains tax, which applies to the sale of stocks and bonds exceeding $250,000, according to the Department of Revenue. The law was previously challenged and, in March, was upheld by the Washington Supreme Court…

Along with the effort to repeal the capital gains tax and give people the ability to opt out of WA Cares, Let’s Go Washington also wants to:

  • Loosen restrictions on when law enforcement officers can engage in vehicle pursuits.
  • Give parents authority to review public school textbooks, demand notification for medical services and opt their kids out of sex education.
  • Repeal the carbon-pricing system for greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Bar cities or counties from adopting an income tax.                                                                                                                         Read more

Hungrier, Lonelier and More Desperate

Hungrier Lonelier and More Desperate

curated

The ominous trends that we see all around us are taking us somewhere.  Needless to say, 2023 was not a good year for our country.  Hunger and homelessness have been absolutely exploding, the suicide rate just continues to go even higher, and there is chaos in the streets on an almost nightly basis.

It is in this environment that the election of 2024 will happen.  I expect election season to add an additional level of strain to our society, and I don't think that our society will be able to handle it.  We are headed for a nightmare, and at this point everyone should be able to see that.

When conditions deteriorate, it is often those at the bottom of the economic food chain that feel it first.

And right now food banks all over the nation are dealing with a tsunami of hunger...

Food bank leaders from all corners of the country tell USA TODAY their neighborhood pantries are serving more people while using less resources, as economic pressures continue to ravage the budgets of low-income Americans and service providers alike.

Since pandemic-era boosts to government food aid ended earlier this year in many states, families are turning to food banks to close a gap in need that feels like it has no end in sight…

I keep sharing fact after fact in my articles, but some people out there are just not convinced.

One out of every five children in the U.S. does not have enough food to eat, but the reality of the suffering that is now taking place just isn't sinking in for many of those that are still living the high life.

Meanwhile, homelessness in the U.S. is increasing at the fastest rate ever recorded...

The United States experienced a dramatic 12 percent increase in homelessness as soaring rents and a decline in coronavirus pandemic assistance combined to put housing out of reach for more Americans, federal officials said Friday.

About 653,000 people were experiencing homelessness during the January snapshot. That's the highest number since the country began using the yearly point-in-time survey in 2007 to count the homeless population…

The Pronoun Police Are Here and Coming for You Next

curated

If your boss required you to announce publicly that 2 + 2 = 5 and act like you sincerely believed it, would you comply or be fired?

Unfortunately, tens of thousands of federal employees are being put to a similar test by the Biden administration. But instead of being required to deny basic math, they're being forced to deny basic biology under radical "gender identity" policies. ie: P R O N O U N S

Last March 31, on International Transgender Day of Visibility, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management ordered federal agencies to prohibit the intentional use of "incorrect" pronouns in the workplace because it could contribute to an "unlawful hostile work environment."

First to comply were the Department of Health and Human Services, the State Department, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection), all of which recently issued workplace pronoun mandates.

Not surprisingly, the Biden administration's LGBT advocate-in-chief, Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine, announced the policy for HHS. Although Levine is a biological male (and for decades went by Richard), HHS employees are prohibited from using anything other than "she" when speaking of Levine and all other trans-identifying biological males who work there.

Further, because the policy covers "gender nonconforming," "agender," "gender fluid" or "nonbinary" identifications, biologically male employees may retain male names and dress and appear like a man on any given day and still demand to be addressed as she, xir, or they.

Not to be outdone, Customs and Border Protection issued a memo for Border Patrol …

Why VOTE Republican for Washington’s Governor?

"Martin Lee Wheeler”

Who are the Republicans?

In a schoolhouse in Ripon, Wisconsin in 1854, fifty-four American citizens who wanted to end slavery formed a new political party. They were inside the warmth of a cabin

John Nichols: Someone forgot to tell Mike Pence that the first Republicans were radicals | Column | captimes.com
Little White School House

in the dead of winter. They named their new organization "the Republican Party.” Six years later, Abraham Lincoln was elected as the first Republican President of the United States.

The Republican party began as a collection of many talented and different groups joining together to end slavery. It also supported giving women the right to vote, but had much diversity of opinion as well. Many people with many different opinions about many different things all came together to form the Republican Party at the beginning and this is still true today. The Republicans believe, as I, Martin Lee Wheeler do, that all individuals are created equal. I believe that everyone deserves the same treatment by the government. This is what America's first leaders, the founders, believed.

To this day, the Republican Party believes and fights for that ideal, an ideal which states that everyone has equal rights, and that these rights include “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

The Republican Party also believes, as the founders did, that it is the purpose of government to make sure that these rights are not taken away from citizens. Your Second Amendment rights should not be taken away. The Republican Party deserves your vote.

Martin Lee Wheeler deserves your Vote. I firmly believe that all men and women are created equal, and that the duty of government is to secure their God-given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

                                                                                                                                      Blessings,
